Sistema local de pesquisa e desenvolvimento de empresas de base tecnológica em Juiz de Fora
Abstract
Este artigo aborda o desenvolvimento de empresas de base tecnológica em Juiz de Fora baseado nas vantagens locacionais, infra-estrutura de pesquisa e iniciativas de apoio à criação deste tipo de empresa. Há uma recuperação da história econômica da cidade, diferenciando-a do novo tipo de desenvolvimento que pode ocorrer a partir do sucesso de algumas experiências, do suporte institucional montado e das vantagens locacionais identificadas. A superação de certas limitações, a consolidação das iniciativas e o aumento dos spin-offs determinarão a viabilidade deste tipo de industrialização.
