A QUALIDADE DO ATENDIMENTO EM UMA CLÍNICA MÉDICA POPULAR NA PERCEPÇÃO DE SEUS USUÁRIOS

Abstract

In recent years a new phenomenon in the market has emerged, the emergence of so-called "Popular Medical Clinics", which occupy a space between official health services and clinics, private polyclinics. The differential of the popular clinics is to provide a service at the level of the private network, charging values compatible with the income of its users. In this sense, the objective of this study was to assess, together with the users of the clinic, the quality of services provided. A questionnaire was applied to a popular medical clinic, with a sample of sixty users, the predominant female gender (66.7%), and more than 78% had at least high school education. Satisfaction with services was demonstrated with responses above 96% contentment. Regarding fidelity, the same numbers were also presented. When asked if they preferred the clinic, even if they paid for the consultation, or the public health service, 93% of the respondents said they preferred to attend the clinic. This study intends to contribute to the market, bringing information from the perspective of the users, as well as to the academy, still lacking works in this area.
