urban economics,Abstract
This article discusses the shifts in the urban structure of the city of Belo Horizonte in the period between 1994 and 2003. Departing from a post-Keynesian methodological basis, we outlined the main vectors of real estate activity in Belo Horizonte. We conclude that residential real estate activity has been leaving the South and Northeast regions and concentrating on the Pampulha region, whereas commercial real estate activity has been gradually abandoning thecity centre to become established in the Southern region.Downloads
