Mudanças estruturais recentes na indústria de bens de capital
Abstract
A indústria brasileira de bens de capital foi marcada por profundas transformações nos anos 90. Estas foram motivadas, principalmente, pelo processo de privatizações, pela estabilização monetária e pela ostensiva pressão competitiva externa verificada neste período. Essa indústria incorpora uma enorme diversidade e dispersão de condiçóes competitivas inter e intra setoriais, que resultam em efeitos distintos exercidos pelas mudanças que ocorreram na economia brasileira a partir do início da década de 90. Por meio da construção e análise de coeficientes de importação e de exportação para subsetores da indústria de bens de capital, de indicadores econômico-financeiros desses subsetores e do perfil de especialização dos mesmos (comércio intra-indústria vertical ou horizontal), avalia-se neste trabalho as mudanças estruturais ocorridas em segmentos da indústria de bens de capital no período 1991-1997.Downloads
