Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in Microsoft Word format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • Author(s) should not be identified in the paper or in the file properties.

Author Guidelines

Rules for Presentation of Articles

To submit articles for “Contabilidade Vista & Revista” journal, it is recommended that the authors check  the journal own criteria in accordance with the items listed on the pre-textual, textual and post-textual elements. It will be send back to the authors the submissions that are not in accord with the rules.

The articles must contain, at least 10(ten) and at most 20(twenty) pages. It will be aloud at most 5 (five) authors per article. The articles presented in international congresses must be sent on the English or Spanish version, depending on how they were presented on the event.

The text must be in a clear and concise style, taking into account the following pre-textual, textual and post-textual elements and rules of articles graphic presentation defined by the magazine.

 

Pre-Textual Elements

  • Cover page with the following data: work title in Portuguese and English, author(s)´s name, author(s)´s titration that qualify him on the knowledge area, author(s)´s institutional entailment, full address including phone and e-mail;
  • Summary on the text language in mostly 250 words, in only one paragraph, single space between the lines followed by three to five keywords;
  • An abstract using the same rules of the summary, followed by three to five keywords.

 

Textual Elements

  • Introduction with presentation and contextualization of the problem and formulation of the work objective;
  • Methodological procedures;
  • Research development;
  • Conclusions and recommendations for future studies.

 

Post-Textual Elements

References are limited to the ones cited on the work. The references must be in accordance with APA (American Psychological Association). The references must be listed at the end of the text, according to APA standards in alphabetical order, font 12, with single space and one blank line after each work.

 

Artigos

Os textos são aceitos em português, espanhol ou em inglês.

Artigos bibliométricos e artigos bibliográficos não serão publicados.

Serão publicados, no máximo, três artigos por edição (um por número) cujos autores sejam docentes que tenham como instituição de vínculo a Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG).
