PERMANENT EDUCATION IN THE TRAINING OF MANAGERS: DEVELOPMENT OF MUNICIPAL TECHNICAL REFERENCES

Abstract

Objective: the objective of this study is to report the experience provided during the subject Health Topics III - Management of Continuing Education in Health, as an option for the Health Services Management course at the Federal University of Minas Gerais, with the participation of students and of health service professionals. Theoretical foundation: The importance of Continuing Education in Health (EPS) to improve daily work is evident, but EPS is still poorly articulated in actions, being a challenge in the health area. Method: This is a descriptive study of the experience report type. Results: There was satisfaction and positive evaluations by the participating students and professionals who were able to understand and consolidate knowledge about EPS in the daily management and care practices. Conclusion: It is hoped that this work will stimulate reflections on the importance of associating theory and practice in the context of EPS, enabling learning based on the reality of management and the improvement of health work.
