INNOVATION MANAGEMENT IN SERVICES: INDUSTRY 4.0 CONCEPTS IN THE HEALTH SECTOR

Abstract

ABSTRACT: The concepts of Industry 4.0 emerged in 2011 in Germany and, since then, have been arousing research interest worldwide. However, many of the concepts of Industry 4.0 present an approach aimed only at the manufacturing sector, ignoring its application to the service sector. With the aim of identify how Industry 4.0 concepts can affect the health sector, this article was prepared through a bibliometric review, carried out from 347 articles from the Scopus database. As main results, tables and conceptual maps were created using the Atlas TI and VOSviewer software, which allow the main countries, authors and keywords of the publications found to be viewed. It was also found that the advent of industry 4.0 introduced the application of concepts such as: Internet of Things, Big Data, Cloud Computing, Cyber ​​Physical Systems, Digitization, Intelligent Work, Mass Customization and Process Automation and that these concepts are also present in the service sector and are perfectly applicable to the health sector. At the end, the article presents its limitations and the academic and managerial contributions.
