These incitements were stimuli that motivated the development of this study. The research objective is focused on understanding whether Lean Healthcare can be a strategy to improve home health service management associated with the development of a structured questionnaire to assess which are the main waste from the perspective of service managers. To achieve this objective, a descriptive exploratory research with a qualitative and quantitative approach was used, firstly a bibliographic review on the Lean Healthcare methodology, following the application of an assessment to company managers. As a result, it was possible to find 6 of the 8 categories of waste, classify the criticality and assign 4 principles of Lean that are impacted. In conclusion, it can be noted that the managers' reports corroborate the results of the questionnaire, enabling its validation. As a contribution this study suggests Lean Healthcare tools according to the wastes found, thus enabling a more value management to customers.
