Abstract
Objective: to identify the quality management and material management strategies used to organize the hospital pharmacy work process. Method: this is an Integrative Literature Review carried out in four databases. Data collection took place in September 2019. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, so that it was possible to count and describe the data found. Results: the sample consisted of 29 articles, all published in Brazil and the region that had the largest number of articles available was the Southeast. The most used organization tool was the structured questionnaire, mentioned in 17.24% (n = 05) of the studies, the use of quality management tools was also identified. Among the benefits, the most cited were cost reduction for institutions and work optimization. Conclusion: the management of the hospital pharmacy sector is still little discussed and the lack of work on the subject presented itself as a difficulty for the development of the literature review.
