Abstract

One of the challenges in the education of the accounting - as well as, in other areas of the knowledge - is to make with that this occurs of attractive form for the student. Such challenge is to a large extent looser when: (1) if it obtains to make for the most part with that the learning process is, of the occasions, pleasant; (2) if the imagination instigates; e (3) if promotes the development of an active learning. Aiming at the reach of such goals, if it has used, in the medicine area - as well as in other fields of knowing - a curricular philosophy called Learning-Based Problems (ABP), which consists of a process centered in the student, allowing that this is capable to reach bigger maturity, acquiring increasing degrees of autonomy. This work has as objective main to collect and to analyze the impressions of a group of pupils of accounting displayed to the ABP process, being aimed at to catch indications on the possibility of its application - or not - in the countable area. Amongst the collected impressions they are distinguished: (i) the perception of that the method demands a much more operating position of the learning; (II) a difference in the autonomy degree was perceivable, on the part of the students, between the method ABP andtraditional education; e (III) the sprouting of doubts how much to the biggest effectiveness of the method in the education of the accounting, relation to the traditional methodology.
