Abstract

    The Stock Options Plans is a variable compensation mode in which to the employee the chance is given to participate of the company as shareholding. The transference of title of the stocks involves values, that are treated as expense by the Accounting. Statements for mensuration and divulgation of the involved values are found in FASB and IASB. In Brazil the object is not regulated and is reason to recommendations of the CVM. This article presents the stock options plans and Accounting norms. In empirical study had been selected fifteen companies and the collected information demonstrate that it has differences between what it is divulged for the regulating agencies and the Brazilian stock market and the recommendation of the CVM.
