USO DE ANALGÉSICOS NO ATENDIMENTO AOS PACIENTES QUE SOFRERAM QUEIMADURAS EM UMA UNIDADE DE PRONTO ATENDIMENTO DO SISTEMA ÚNICO DE SAÚDE DO BRASIL

Abstract

Introduction: Pain is the most common symptom in patients who suffer burns that require hospital treatment. Opioid and non-opioid analgesics correspond to the main drugs used to treat pain in the burn sector. Objective: To carry out a survey of articles on systematic review and meta-analysis on the topic of burns, analyze and disseminate this scientific knowledge, the evidence present in the care of these patients. Method: An extensive search was conducted in the literature published up to December 2020, in the MEDLINE (Medical Literature Analysis and Retrieval System Online) databases via PubMed, LILACS (Latin American and Caribbean Literature in Health Sciences) and SciELO (Scientific Electronic Library Online), with the aim of selecting studies describing the analgesics used for pain relief in patients who suffered burns by SUS. Results: Anti-algia therapy regimens were classified according to the WHO analgesic scale. Adjuvant drugs will be classified according to the main therapeutic indication, according to the Anatomical Therapeutic Chemical (ATC), endorsed by the World Health organization. preference is given to multicenters, with the objective of carrying out systematic reviews with meta-analysis in the near future to obtain the best current evidence to strengthen the policy of care for patients with burns, in addition to advancing the quality of research carried out and its applicability.
