SEGURANÇA DA EQUIPE DE SAÚDE X SEGURANÇA DO PACIENTE EM TEMPOS DE PANDEMIA

Abstract

Objective: Understand the strategies to ensure the safety of health teams and patients in times of pandemic. Method: this is an integrative literature review, developed in August 2021 through data collected in SciELO databases; LILACS and BDENF; including organizational websites such as the Ministry of Health, WHO and PAHO. Theoretical Rationale: The COVID-19 pandemic brought several impacts that affect occupational and patient health, including the millions of deaths and the mental, social and emotional impairment caused by a health emergency. Results: the sample consisted of 06 articles between the years 2020 and 2021, which address the issue of patient and health professional safety, in addition to the importance of the manager in coping with difficulties in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic. Conclusion: it was evidenced that the care directed to the worker's health is essential for the promotion and maintenance of safety and in guaranteeing the quality of the service, with the role of the manager being essential in this process.
