OVERVIEW OF ADMINISTRATION TEACHING IN NURSING GRADUATE COURSES IN BRAZIL

Abstract

The objective is to identify the distribution of the areas of concentration and lines of research related to the teaching of Administration in the Graduate Programs (GP), master's and doctorate, in Nursing in Brazil. Documentary, descriptive and exploratory research carried out through the Sucupira Platform of the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES) and GP homepages. 84 areas of concentration and 221 lines of research were identified in 80 GP in Nursing, located in the five regions of Brazil, in public federal and state institutions and private for-profit and non-profit institutions. It is concluded that the areas of concentration and lines of research are not equitably similar to other areas of interest to Nursing and there is a disparity in the offer of courses and, consequently, in areas of concentration and lines of research between the five regions of Brazil.
