PRESSUPOSTOS PARA O ESTUDO DA LIDERANÇA COMO UM FENÔMENO DISCURSIVO E SOCIALMENTE CONSTRUÍDO

Resumo

Apesar de estudos recentes contribuírem para o entendimento da liderança como fenômeno discursivo e socialmente construído, um problema permanece saliente: como distinguir a liderança dentre outras formas de discurso nas organizações? Este artigo busca mitigar esse problema ao delinear pressupostos para o estudo da liderança como um fenômeno discursivo. Combinando a teoria relacional e a teoria de atividade, o artigo delineia pressupostos para o estudo da liderança discursiva.  Os pressupostos são aplicados em um estudo de caso de um projeto de voluntariado da comunidade acadêmica da UFSC. Resultados demonstram que os pressupostos auxiliam a distinguir a liderança discursiva de outros discursos na organização pesquisada, na medida em que a primeira emerge de um processo de construção coletiva de comprometimento, alinhamento e direcionamento distinto dos discursos pré-existentes. O artigo conclui com uma apreciação crítica das vantagens e desvantagens da abordagem proposta.
