Inserção da Controladoria em Artigos de Periódicos Nacionais Classificados no Sistema Qualis da Capes

The objective of this article is to analyze the insertion of controllership in articles from national academic journals classified by the CAPES Qualis system. This is a survey-type descriptive research with both qualitative and quantitative analysis. 18 national periodicals for accountancy or linked areas were surveyed, covering a period from 2000 to 2005. In the quantitative research of the data the following items were emphasized: the number of articles per year, by author and by institution, as well as the productivity of the academic journals analyzed. In the qualitative research, by way of an analysis of content, the following were highlighted: The number of citations by article, the size of the articles, their theme and the techniques employed for building the articles. When considering the total number of articles found and analyzed on the theme of controllership, it was concluded that there is little insertion of the referred theme in the national periodicals classified by CAPES' Qualis system.
